Roatan - Honduras - Marine Institute

Very proud of my daughter Tara who graduated from Eckerd College May 17, 2015 with a BA in Environmental Science with double minors in Marine Biology and Psychology - Specializing in Marine Wildlife. During her Senior Year at Eckerd she traveled to Roatan Honduras to the Marine Institute where she completed her Winter Term studying coral reefs, sea grasses and observations of marine wildlife. She has spent the last year Interning at Clearwater Marine Aquarium in Sea Turtle Nesting - Sea Turtle Rehab - Stranding and Marine Mammals and Mote Marine in the Manatee Research Dept. At present Tara is volunteering at Florida Fish & Wildlife Marine Mammal Path Lab. Tara has always had a gift for working with animals, especially wildlife. Her goal is to be hired to work with Marine Wildlife in the capacity of rescue - rehab - release or in research. Here are some photos of how Tara is working to help create a better planet for you and I - and all the animals.
